Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Centrul Cultural Turc Bucureşti împreună cu Muzeul Naţional al Ţăranului Român vă invită în perioada 12 februarie - 12 martie 2015 să vizitaţi expoziţia STRAIE DE CURTE OTOMANE, create de artista ceramistă Yıldız İbram.
Cine este Yıldız İbram?
Născută la Cernavodă, artista a absolvit Şcoala Gimnaziala în aceeaşi localitate. Încă din copilărie participă la tabere de olărit în zone din Transilvania, unde a lucrat cu lutul roşu (terracotta). În anii de liceu a perseverat în arta olăritului învăţând să creeze, în stilul tradiţional românesc, ceramica de Horezu.
În anul 1995, a absolvit Facultatea de Drept a Universităţii Bucureşti dupa care s-a mutat la Istanbul.
În anul 1996, şi-a înfiinţat propriul Atelier de Ceramică „Yıldız Seramik” în zona Beyoğlu, Istanbul.
În perioada 1996-2008, a cercetat ceramica de Iznik şi Kutahya (sec. XVI) lucrând cu cei mai cunoscuţi maeştri în decor, olărit şi designul creării formei în lut, precum artistul emerit din Kütahya, Mehmet Yıldırım. În aceşti ani a unit spaţiul de producţie al atelierului său cu cel de desfacere spre vânzare a lucrărilor din ceramică, înfiinţând o nouă marcă „Nicaea Stone”.
Cu scopul de a contribui la promovarea ceramicii anatoliene împreună cu maestrul său în arta decorului tradiţional turcesc, artistul Saim Kolhan, au predat cursuri de ceramică la Primăria Beyoglu/ Semt Konakları din Istanbul.
În iunie 2013 a absolvit masteratul la Academia de Arte Plastice „UnArte”, secţia Ceramică-Sticlă-Metal din Bucureşti.
În august 2011 a fost certificată de către Ministerul Culturii şi Turismului al Republicii Turcia ca artist în arte tradiţionale turceşti, specializare ceramică.
În 2009 a participat cu una din lucrările sale la vernisajul expoziţiei Galben de Inoasa. Întâlniri după Brâncuşi organizat la Galeriile Municipale de Artă Târgu Jiu. Lucrarea sa este una din colecţiile permanente expuse la muzeu.
Expoziţia va fi deschisă publicului în perioada 12 februarie – 12 martie 2015, de marţi până duminică, între orele 10:00 şi 18:00.
